Welcome back to the People's Republic of China AAR!

Despite our attempts at vetoing the UN's decision to intervene on the side of the South in the Korean War, the USA, backed by the UN, begins sending in troops as Seoul and the surrounding regions are captured by our Northern allies. Unfortunately, with the USA possessing nuclear weapons and better conventional forces we cannot intervene, anyways, we just suffered through a decade of war. It is time for us to put down our sword, for now.
Despite being in our SOI and having us present at peace talks to try and cool down the situation, both India and Pakistan are unable to come to terms and war brakes once again with India demanding Kashmir, of course we side with Pakistan because we cannot allow India to steal the upper regions due to there being sources of rivers meaning they could potentially stop the flow of water to Pakistan.
Troops stationed in Pakistan move into India and we meet very little resistance. India must have believed that their huge size would have given them the ability to demand peace.
Back home, our victorious soldiers returning from the invasion of Asia and squashing the anti-communist rebellions march down the streets and thousands flock to the scene to thank the People's Liberation Army for their sacrafices.
In the next couple of months, workers in the industrial centres recognise the brave police force delivering security to factories, homes and the cities of China as thousands of our service men and women march down the streets. Of course we encourage the media to publicise the recent events as much as they can.
For a decade, our great country has been at war, hundreds of thousands of Chinese soldiers and workers had been slain but with their sacrafices, communism is stronger than ever. We can now focus on domestic issues.
With peace returning to Asia, all workers and soldiers who are not required on active duty are sent home to return to their familles and homes.
We welcome more members to the Communist Party of China.
By joining the Soviet Union's Comecon system, the two largest communist powers can improve their development
How pathetic, Britain cannot even invade a small island properly anymore...
After much debate and discussion, it is decided that in order for our industry and country to catch up to the rest of the world, we must take the necessary steps now so that the west cannot destroy us in the future.
The final transisition of power over Chinese land between the USSR and China takes place and we now own all our rightful land in the east.
The Soviets claim their version of communism is the better version and insist we follow their lead. They also claim a large area of Zhenbao Island, a small island in the east along and they continue to demand more of us. Nevertheless, we must keep up relations, after all the USSR does have the power of the atom.
Relations with the USSR need to return to Civil War levels before the Sino-Soviet Split ends in destruction and so we grant and gain military access to/from the USSR.
As the five year plan moves into its second phase, a new leader is to come into power.
At the moment, our infamy is too high for us to develop nuclear weapons therefore we must wait till the time is right and the world is distracted from the future development so that the progress will not be hindered by western (or even Soviet) interference.
Meanwhile in Western Europe, a movement calling for the independence of Catalonia from Spain recieves German and American support. Spain who is still not fully alligned with the west asks the USSR for backing.
Luckily, the two super-powers were able to put away their ammunition and sign a peace agreement declaring that Spain shall not be forced to release Catalonia. As a result, the USSR had somewhat recovered from their diplomatic defeat in the Berlin Blockade Crisis.
Decolonisation leads to wars raging across Africa, some are civil wars whilst others are between newly formed states. Congo Stanleyville, a communist nation immidiately receives support from us and the USSR in the hopes that the communists can gain a foothold in Africa, perhaps this is the beginning of the end of the Sino-Soviet Split!
We celebrate our victories in India and bringing down what could have been a country that could have threatened our interests.
Recent events in the Soviet's SOI have led to the mass protests and uprisings, some of which include the backing of anti-communist militas meaning the Soviets are being forced to quicky take out all opposition with all means necessary.
In East Pakistan, a movement demanding for the creation of a Begal state is not shown any support by the world. Of course we give Pakistan as much support as we could have to ensure our rule over South-East Asia is strong.
While the workers move in to the cities to find work and help establish the growing industry in China, the rich move out to the countryside.
Congo Stanleyville now looks only to us for assistance after recent disagreements with the USSR over the type of goverment they should have after they would be victorious in their civil war.
Brazil, a fairly large nation with a lot of potential looks like the perfect to begin increasing our influence in the whole continent of South America therefore we do all we can to keep up relations despite what happened between the ambassadors.
Macau comes under Chinese control at last and the Portugese are
Finally, we are able to begin the development of nuclear weapons.

In response to the growing military strength of the west, the USSR creates the Warsaw Pact. We also believe that this is an attempt to gain back full control of their bloc after the recent uprisings.
Well...
It seems as though Brazil has once again insulted our ambassador.
We must keep cool and not let these silly occurrence lead to a confrontation.
After our Red Guards began leading the revolution in the streets, we could already feel the economic impacts and experts expect these problems to last for a decade.
The new leader heavily supports the great Cultural Revolution sweeping the nation and expects the best of results to follow!
Mao Zedong has fallen ill and is expected to pass away soon but has came too soon in times of economic troubles. The country of China will soon mourns the death of the great leader but for now, we shall continue the revolution in the streets.
Yet again, this time with Soviet support, India declares war on Pakistan with the intention of forcing us to releasing Bangladesh.
Hyderabad, a small yet populous country within India is given monetary support to help them defend themselves from India and possibly begin an invasion.
Pakistan is also given support, we will not directly intervene to ensure that Hyderabad and Pakistan can together defend themselves.
Indian forces are no where to be seen!
To support our allies, we setup a blockade of most of India.
The Indians once again retreat.
In an extraordinary turn of events, the muslim country of Saudi Arabia turns to communism. We did not expect this to happen seeing as Arabia is made up mostly muslims who may not accept the sudden imposed atheism policy. Oh well, we can now expand our SOI into the Middle-East.
There is no need to anger the people of China, after all with the economy recovering well and our Liberation Army growing, everyone is pleased.
We being investing into the countries of Europe in the hopes that our industry can expand even more and at a faster rate.
We also begin building roads in South America to make extraction of resources easier (and also make the lives of workers there easier too).
Another great leader who led our country to victory in the civil war almost three decades ago falls to illness.
The five year plans come with consequence as rushed development leads to horrible disasters resulting in more deaths of innocents.
In Indo-China, Camobodia is unable to prevent a Soviet-backed communist party to overthrow the government supported by us. We must act at once to restore order! It is time to test the effectiveness of the PLA!
Our fresh troops who have not engaged in warfare for years march to Cambodia.
The navy quickly blockades Cambodia.
The navy has seen rapid expansion alongside the army over the past years.
Vietnam despite being in the Soviet's SOI allow us access, perhaps they are beginning to see the error in the Soviets version of communism.
Full occupation of the Cambodia will not take too long to acheive seeing as the country is quite small.
A small unit of 6k soldiers and tanks move into Cambodia from Vietnam where little resistance is met from anti-Marxist forces bunkered down in Phnom Penh.
Troops are sent down to the southern border with Vietnam to deal with 12k Cambodian soldiers.
The troops from the north join up with those in the capital and the others move on towards the sea.
Troops are stationed in Nanning to prevent any more Cambodian troops from slipping in.
The country has fallen and all anti-Marxists are being dealth with, Cambodia shall return to us and join our SOI.
Our growing sphere of influece. Next to join us shall be North Korea and India who already have communist governments in control.
Thousands more die following an earthquake in Tanghan. It is reported to be the deadliest natural disaster in history.
Despite a tough battle with death, Mao has passed away and the masses will begin mourning. We recieve condolences from all over the world including the USSR with whom we seem to be becoming friendly with.
We have managed to hold on to Afghanistan for decades now but the Taliban who have recently been gaining popularity amongst the muslim majority want nothing to do with us seeing as we encourage atheism. We cannot lose Afghanistan now or else the USA may step in and we can't accept a border with the US forces on the other side...
The new communist government in Afghanistan still refuses to accept our dominance and throws out our investors and seizes our assets and factories.
The US led coalition has taken down various countries across the world who have stepped over the line and now South Africa is next on their list. Of course this is probably an attempt to establish a friendly government in the region.
With two months South Africa is forces to accept the offer of peace.
In order for us to restore stability to our SOI and Afghanistan, we must remove them from our SOI so that we can use force.
As Mao dies, changes in government take place, but there are no major changes.
We send the declaration of war to Afghanistan and along with it an ultimatum stating that if they do not accept to become a Chinese puppet state then we will be forced to send in troops.
We hear no word back from the foolish government and so we are forced to send in troops...
However it shall not be our troops that go in, our close ally Pakistan will be occupying the country.
With a much large active force than Afghanistan, we seen no need to send our troops across mountainous terrain and instead our ally Pakistan is tasked with invading Afghanistan.
Very quickly, the Pakistani troops move deep into the country and will soon be taking Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.
While the USSR denies our forces millitary access, Afghanistan is given access, perhaps the USSR does not admire our use of aggressive force.
Kabul shall taken soon, we expect peace to come soon after the capture of the province.
Tarrifs along with military spending will decrease to allow for our industry to grow further and quickly.
The US led coalition moves on to Spain which is still not alligned with the west or east but at the moment seem to be losing battles.
We shall use the Soviet model for modernising our country, our agricultural sector may become weak, but our industrial sector will become stronger under Hua Guofeng.
Spain is also forced to accept peace and they now seem to have a less aggessive policy to the west and more so to the east as a result.
Afghanistan has become our puppet thanks to the efforts of the Pakistani government.
We send more military supplies their way to help with the recent Bangladeshi insurgents demanding for indepence but we must be cautious seeing as there is a high amount of tension in the region which could pull the world into another crisis.
With the USA acting more aggressively lately, a small number of countries break their alliances and look elsewhere for cooperation.
We immediately look to the Philippines as they could be used as a secondary naval base and allow us to exert more influence into the South-China Sea.
NATO stages military exercises in Europe and America as a way of showing of their strenght.
The economy has recovered well after the Stock Market crash nearly a decaded ago and our reforms have led to us having some of the best factories in the world!
Argentina declares war and is met with quick response by a large UK led coalition.
It is our duty to prevent the west from pursuing all the territory it thinks belongs to them so we veto any action, but yet again, the British go foward with their plans of invasion.
A leader who is liked by the workers of China comes into power.
The protection we gave to Pakistan from India in the years before have led to it becoming a great power. We begin investing in other countries in the hopes that they can overtake them seeing as we would rather have them in our SOI.
Not only does Japan still own land which belongs to us, but they regularly insult our ambassadors and go against our demands.
It is time to act.
The islands in question are a chain of the coast of eastern China and were under adminstration of the USA after WW2 but instead of returning the islands to us, Japan had taken them and we will take it back.
A plan to liberate the islands is quickly drawn up taking into account that South Korea would also be at war with us.
With an active force of 1,470,000 soldiers we anticipate to quickly overwhelm any South Korean forces and be able to secure the peninsula and perhaps unify the Koreas under communism.
Once our navy has completed construction we will be able to take on the USA in case they also decide to intervene but we know they will not commit their entire force to the coming war seeing as the threat of nuclear annihilation is now present.
