The Kingdom of Louisiana is now independent but we are not safe. Colonial Powers may see our independence as a treat to their empires. The Savages on our borders see our independence as an opportunity pillage towns on the frontier. Even internally, a growing movement of Louisanas believes we should not be ruled by French noble family.

Kingdom of Louisiana #5 A New Kingdom

In the past few years, the city of Nouvelle Orleans has grown in wealth and population. During the British occupation many years ago, Smugglers from this city were the only way the colony could get food and other supplies. These smugglers later became merchants, creating a large middle class and a strong naval tradition. Most of these Men are Louisiana-born and have contempt for the d'Anjou dynasty and the foreign born queen regent. This joins this new middle class with the Coureurs de Bois in protest against the Seigneur class
The current government is aware of the current turmoil. The Queen regent, Margarette de Montfort, Uses the most common way the Kings of France dealt with internal squabbles, external war. An outside enemy will cause these scheming Merchants into rallying behind their rightful queen.
Secretly, Queen Margarette promises the Seigneurs the new land acquired from this war.
The Spanish Colony of Florida has been lightly defended for years. The Choctaw Focus raiding the county side of Florida for food raw materials they could not get from a better defended populous.
Michigamea has fallen but the Indians have taken the sparsely populated northern territories.
Many middle-class citizens have completely refused to pay taxes to the royal government. Many communities have set up their own local governments to take care of basic services like a defence and a police force. Many habitants(peasants) have abandoned their farms or work facility to join these new communities or start their own settlements in the uncolonized land to avoid royal authorities. The queen has chosen to take a less than diplomatic path to solve this dispute. She has sent the Royal military to abolish these new governments
A lot of the provinces were royal authority is low has started a to rally behind a man named Benoit Maurepas who has vowed to defend the rights of the middle class and the habitat. Benoit was born on the born on to a habitant family who escaped the farm and became a Courier de Bois and created one the most prosperous Fur trading company in all of Louisiana. His
headquarters became a home for discontent against the French and later Louisianan Authorities.
The war is over and we have received the territory we demanded at the beginning of the war. The war has seemed to do the opposite of what it tried to accomplish. The nation has become very decentralized and an open rebellion is not far away.
In the year 1612 on the 12 of February, men and women of all classes(even some Seigneur) marched on Bastille in the center of Nouvelle Orleans. Many do not know what will replace the current monarchy but that does stop them,
The military finds this revolt as unnecessary and refuses to intervene in the current revolt even after a request directly from the queen.
Arcansas has fallen the rebels and Sebastien de le port, head of the military, has pledged his support to Benoit Maurepas. In the royal palace, Benoit Maurepas is declared King of the Louisianians. This regrets the idea of divine right to rule and institutes that the power of the crown come from the people.
While Maurepas's revolution was to curb the power of the Seigneurs, he needs their economic support and legitimacy to the courts of Europe. Many courts of Europe fear if Louisiana abolishes nobility or serfdom then they will deal with large scale revolts.
Maurepas has is desperate to keep the revolutionary zeal of his people intact. Many ardent supporters of his revolt have already become cynical about his administration. To counteract this, Maurepas create a foreign policy mandate to support the independence of other foreign policy.
New France has been losing to Indian tribes on their borders Since France has the policy to have its colonies sparsely defended. We offer our to support them if they rebel against the French.
New policies are put in place to allow the catholic church to assimilate and convert the Indians in the newly acquired lands
Meanwhile, in Europe man campaigns by the neighboring Christians have left the Ottoman state weekend and less of a threat.
In South America, Portugal abandoned their colonies after occupation by the Moors. The Inca and Mapuche have incorporated these new lands and adopted Portuguese as a lingua Franka and try to modernize their society.
The explorer Nicolas de Pellafort sets out explore the unknown region of the great lakes. He claims there is one water way that goes from Lake Michigan to the Atlantic ocean

New France has lost most of its territory and France is no war to be seen. Week leadership has doomed them to fail.
In South America anger over Castillian foreign policy has caused many to call for independence.
Floridians have resin up to challenge their savage master's ownership of the pan handle
the island of Cuba has been united but many of the Scottish settlers are treated unfairly with the banning of garlic and scots languages.
More tension between settlers and Indians. Many call for the complete destruction of all Sovern Indian states that border our kingdom.
In other parts relations with the Indian tribesman is much better and many willingly join louisiana society.
A policy of centralization now favored by the people as the government better represent the different societies that have power but Habitants and Affranchise process these new policies as they restrict rights like voting on race and wealth.
