Welcome back, we are now in an amazing position in this Civil War and we aim to capture Nanjing (the capital of the Nationalists) very soon (later this part). All of our troops in the north are sent to the south to assist in the occupation.
However, before we can take back our land, we have to continue to occupy more of the Nationalist territory.
Fierce confrontations take place on the border, and in Chezhou we have become heavily outnumbered by the KMT forces, so the 60,000+ troops from the north rush to the battle.
The KMT forces quickly retreat as more of our troops make their way to Chezhou, we can now advance and chase down the enemy!
We are no longer on the defensive, but we are on the offensive as we hope to quickly win the war.
The KMT have become so weakened, they have been unable to properly invade the small nation of East Turkestan in the west and have been forced to accept defeat, the morale of the enemy troops continues to fall.
As more of our troops take out smaller KMT units, we send a large amount of units to the border provinces to establish a presence along the border to prevent any KMT troops from sneaking in.
We order our troops to show little mercy to the Nationalist sympathisers and push on to the capital.
We slay 30,000+ KMT troops whilst we only lose 4000 troops.
Our large unit splits and the smaller unit is sent back to Communist China to help in liberating our provinces, whilst the largest is sent further south.
No survivors...
We fear that our 54,000+ troops in the mountain province of Yibin are going to become trapped by the slightly large KMT forces on the neighbouring province. We continue to occupy the province nonetheless but anticipate a battle in the mountains to come.
A swift desicion to quickly take out the troops is taken and only 11,000 troops are left behind in the mountains. Hopefully they will be able to defend themselves if they are to be attacked.
Provinces where the KMT are actively recruiting are made our primary targets to occupy.
The newly mobilised peasants are sent to Qingdao in large numbers to quickly liberate the province and join the invasion.
Troops are also sent to Xuzhou to assist in aid and liberation.
Our great generals teach our soldiers of various tactics and more research into the field of battle is made to improve our combat capabilities.
Looking to the USSR and the USA, we see that tanks dominate the military and so we begin research and development into them seeing as they could also help out with our future invasions and war.
Unfortunately, a few thousand KMT troops manage to escape, not to worry though, they shall be dead soon.
As Xuzhou is now liberated, we send those troops to the last two unoccupied border provinces.
As the war is going well in mainland China, some of our leadership begins to look towards East Turkestan, they are in control of land which rightly belongs to us. The USSR is gaining more and more influence of the small nation every day, so we must act now!
Our territory is now completely in our control, the KMT have been fully pushed out and the two stacks of 70,000+ troops are to NOT join the invasion but are given different orders...
The two stacks of 70,000 are to be sent to the border of East Turkestan and Tibet to prepare for the invasion which will take place after the civil war.
Reinforcements are rushed to Zhaotong were we seem to be losing quite a few soldiers, however, it looks like they will not be reaching on time.
We are attacked by a large KMT unit and our closest unit is sent to help defend against the attackers whilst our other units continue the occupation.
Meanwhile on the east, our troops continue southwards towards Nanjing.
The mountain provinces prove difficult to reach and we expect a defeat in the battle raging on in the mountains.
We recieive news of another victorious battle followed by a strange development in Soviet occupied Brandenburg after protesting and small clashes between supporters of the west and east.
In a few days, we learn the protests were simply put down and no action will be taking place, after all, the world is still recovering from the last war which only ended two years ago.
All of our troops return to Jingzhou to crush the 61,000+ troops currently trying to take back the province.
We chase them into Yuezhou were our smaller unit meets them while our larget unit crushes a smaller KMT unit in Jiujang.
Our forces are ever more closer to the mountains.
It was too late, we have lost the battle. Our soldiers died with honour inflicting nearly the same amount of kills on the enemy despite being in a bad offensive position.
We are doing good, no need for any further support.
The KMT forces in the mountains celebrate their rare victory, but very quickly their faces change from cheerful to terrified as the sounds of our forces making their way up the mountains reach them.
We prevent any KMT troops from moving into Nanjing as we believe they could set up some sort of fortification which would make our encirclement and occupation last longer.
(On the western border).
We have avenged those who fell in the mountains in Jiadang and continue to slaughter the Nationalists!
The mountain unit continues clearing up the western provinces so that it can then begin to make its way south as well.
One of the newly learnt tactics is the strategy of completely surrounding the enemy and encircling them. So one of our larger unit engages the 52,000+ strong KMT force, whilst the 141,000+ troops in Yuezhou are split into 6 units.
The 6 units are sent to all 6 provinces neighbouring the province in which the battle is taking place and is completely surrounded.
A 23,000+ sized KMT unit comes close to our smaller units but dares not to disrupt our encirclement and all they can do is just imagine the horrors taking place within the encirclement...
The strategy is a huge success and 61,000+ troops are massacred.
The chase in the mountain continues...
One of the smaller units is sent westwards to help with trapping the KMT forces who have unfortunately found refuge in the mountains.
Nanjing is now completely surrounded and we will be moving in now.
Victory is near!
Reinforcements have finally reached the mountain province of Jiading but again it is too late.
The mountains seem to be our weakness and our generals are still finding better ways of waging war there.
While 46,000+ KMT soldiers engage our smaller unit, we send our 49,000+ stack to Wuchang.
Luckily, there is a 54K size unit awaiting orders which will go and assist the smaller unit.
Meanwhile in the mountains, we decide to send all troops in the area to Guiyang where the 83K strong KMT force awaits.
We push on with our troop's morales extremely high on hearing Nanjing is soon to be captured.
Nanjing is captured after 23 days and the Nationalist government is fleeing, the communists have taken over.
News reaches many of the Nationalist troops of the capture of Nanjing and many turn from battle and also flee.
Those who are are unable to escape are continued to being slaughtered and also, we now directly engage the final remaining large KMT force.
The final KMT force puts up a good fight, but it will all be for nothing as the war is coming to an end.
As a final stand, the KMT throws all their mobilised peasants into the war but they realise it is completely pointless and send us an offer of peace.
We accept and the nation is united!

Unfortunately, as we look to the west, various countries still have a grip on territory which belongs to us, therefore, this war has just ended but another shall soon begin, many of the soldiers do not return home, but move westwards towards the border of East Turkestan, Tibet and South-East Asia.

Report and War Analyzation:

On the final day of war, 60,920 brave soldiers were sacraficed.

A full report of the war and battles can be seen below:
Over a million soldiers from both sides were killed in the Civil War, villages were badly damaged and some were completely destroyed whilst many Nationalist sympathizers are fleeing the communists to neighbouring countries.
The bloodiest battle of the civil war saw the deaths of more than 260,000 soldiers.
Thank you for reading!

In part 4, the invasion of western and southern Asia shall commence.
