Welcome back to The People's Republic of China AAR,

Last time, we surprisingly managed to push out the main Nationalist troops, crushed many in the mountains in the north and chased down smaller units until we outnumbered them in our own territory.

One of our smaller units has been attacked in Chezhou, a small province on the southern border and reinforcements are quickly rushed in.
Despite the fact we had suffered heavy losses in the Battle of Chezhou, we were the ones who were attacked therefore our smaller unit was able to hold of the attackers.

Smaller units are now able to safely liberate occupied territories in the north.
The border along Mongolia and the USSR is now fully liberated and now we move troops into Nationalist territory were very little resistance is met.
We cannot allow this unusual activity to go unchecked therefore we arrest him temporarily and keep an eye on him and his companions.
The Nationalists despreately try to mantain control on the border as they throw all their troops into the frontlines but we simply send more troops to the border.
We are pleased to receive an offer of a military alliance from the USSR, the leader of the communist bloc, we gladly accept hoping that those western countries funding the Nationalists stop doing so.
As our troops are engaged on the border, unexpected reports of a single 63,000+ sized Nationalist unit storming to the capital come in.
The nearest unit is sent into meet the invaders, unfortunately, we fear 6,000 soldiers are about to be sacraficed.
As we expected, the Nationalists are very unorganised and the large unit comes flooding in to Yenan in small sized units. The 6,000 defenders are able to hold back the invaders until the 62,000+ reinforcements reach the province to also meet the incoming attackers.
The attackers are pushed back and Yenan will not fall again!
We chase them to the border with the aim to destroy them completely.
The Nationalists are again massacred in both battles occuring near the border.
Meanwhile, a large amount of soldiers slip through the battles into the large Nationalist province of Runing.
As one battle ends, another rages on but in our favour, more and more soldiers rush in to end this quickly.
Once again, the Nationalists send forces to Pingdingshan but this time we send in all our soldiers near the province.
Unfortunately, only 100,000 soldiers reach Pingdingshan as the smaller sized unit is attacked whilst it was on route to the province in Runing so further reinforcements are sent there.
It seems like this may be the turning point of the Civil War as now Nationalists troops are being massacred in their own country. While the Nationalists are busy in battle, more and more troops arrive in Nationalist China.
Our border with Korea still remains under Nationalist occupation but soon it will be back in our hands, the troops in the north are told to liberate the occupied provinces.
We continue pushing into Nationalist territory and weakening their forces.
We allow East Turkestan to occupy mountain provinces and we direct our forces southwards towards the Nationalist capital.
Our larger unit sent southwards to scout and take out any smaller units is attacked by a weak enemy force, we are on the defensive!
Reinforcements reach the ongoing battle in Pingdingshan and we advance further southwards.
Fresh mobilised peasants reach Jizhou, their first job will be to join the troops currently liberating our provinces.
Mao Zedong leads his troops to Luzhou to help defend against the Nationalists whilst Zhou Enlai leads his troops into the province of Dean.
As more and more provinces are liberated, more of our soldiers join the invasion and split to seige more effectively.
Nationalist China has almost no more military generals, only their ignorant and corrupt government is left to 'guide them'.
A mistake leads to a gap in our defensives allowing Xuzhou to be taken by the Nationalists, it will not cost us our victory but we send a large number of troops to deal with this nuisance near the border.
Seeing as a lot of the border consists of mountains, we are worried it may take too long for our troops to cross over and for supplies to reach us but we are dedicated and will soon prevail.
Thankfully, there were large sized units surrounding the battle and they rush in to join the defenders.
Battle of Xuzhou is going well, no longer will our liberation of our country be interrupted.
As our country is nearly fully liberated, we consider the construction of a few ships to blockade Nationalist China, but with our economy already suffering from the demands of the war, we leave this idea for another time.
There is chaos on the border as each month, thousands of Nationalist citizens escape the war in Nationalist China to communist China and many in the south rush to Burma expecting our forces to show no mercy. as we continue our rapid advance.
The Nationalists are reduced to a couple thousand, how long will they die for a useless cause.
Unforunately, despite quickly liberating our provinces, we are still lacking the number of forces to take out the enemy taking back their land on the border.
A sad day as we suffer yet another rare defeat in battle, immediately, many troops begin to chase down the Nationalist troops.
Despite the defeat, we do not need any more assistance, we move on and remember the fallen.
As we liberate more forces, the Nationalists once again manage to take back a province but we will be able to crush them as no Nationalist reinforcements are anywhere to be seen.
We have now reached the border of the capital, Nanjing and we send a small 6000 sized unit into the capital, not with the intention to occupy it but to meet the incoming 18,000+ attackers.
The larger unit is told to stop occupying and go and help the defenders now engaged in the capital. This will be a quick battle.
More infantrymen are needed and equipment is being collected quickly to satisfy the demands of the military.
The state of China.
We push out the Nationalists in Xuzhou.
We avoid mountains and now begin to push eastwards towards the capital.
The world now sees that the Civil War will not be won by the Nationalists, but by the communists. They will soon witness the rise of China.
Most of the Nationalists troops are with the reach of our forces and we send in as many troops we can into those provinces with a Nationalist presence.
Cheng Cheng along with his troops are annihilated, one less annoyance to worry about.
As a great power, we are able to create our own sphere of influence, we prioritize the inclusion of Vietnam into our SOI, however, it seems like the USSR already has a advantage, having funded their government and being in good relations, meaning we should look elsewhere to.
Nevertheless, we aim to let Vietnam know we should not be considered a threat.
We look towards Afghanistan too, their government is different to ours but that can be changed...
As you can see, we make the harsh choice to remain occupying the province of Luzhou instead of joining the Battle of Fenyang in the north which does not seem to be going good, unfortunately, there are no other reinforcements available.
Mongolia has banned our ambassadors and we understand that they are to remain in the USSR's SOI, for now that is...
Some good news and some bad news, mostly good news, as the capital of Nationalist China is completly exposed after we were victorious in the Battle of Taiping and we will soon be encircling it.
The result of the Battle of Fengyang was actually expected, those Nationalist soldiers are to be hunted down by our larger units.
We allow a smaller unit to be attacked and send in reinforcements but they will need to be quick.
Luckily, the reinforcements reach Chenzhou quickly and the state of the war is now very much in our favour. Very shortly, we will be entering Nanjing and then unite China under one flag!
