Welcome to the very first active part of the Seventh Hybrid Games, narrated by /u/Tefumon! Coalition choices for Part 1 will be due on FRIDAY @ 0200 GMT and should be sent to /u/Aimerais, who will be Plotrunner for this Mark! There will be a global event released for everyone to consider in their submissions for Part 2.

If you're looking for rules or regulations to guide your choices and actions, or just some general info, please refere to the sidebar on reddit.com/r/CivHybridGames, where you can find the wiki and the very important format template for coalition submissions.
1. Look at Cossack's Bahrain. O man, it looks like they have even more units than Oman.
2. And here's Aegyptus and their OP start location. Looks like they missed the Suez tho, smh.
3. Now we move north to the Holy Land, occupied by the Holy City-State of Jerusalem, and the boat-mongering Phoenicians.
4. Eastwards, we see Babbylounge and Persia, who is the first civ we've seen with more than two cities. Good for them!
5. The Georgians also have three cities, including a shiny new waterfront one. Also Trebizond, the city-state that can now bully other city-states.
6. Finally, we feast our eyes on the glory that is East Rome! With a whole four cities, and some weird UI artifacts left behind by Hadrianopolis's teleportation. Also Athens I guess too.
7. And the turns are now ticking! Eastern Orthodoxy has been founded by Georgia, which should be a boon to their religion-focused RP. I wonder if their AI chose any good Beliefs, though.
8. The Phoenicians show their war-mongering ways by picking a combat modifying Pantheon.
9. WHEAT!
10. The glorious Eastern Roman Empire founds another city, in northern Greece!
11. And Babbylounge upgrades from two cities, to four cities. Congrats to them!
12. O man, Oman's settled a third city, this one far away from Cossack's marauding city-state.
13. An Aegyptian settling party stands around, clearly being too cool to settle down.
14. Too bad Cossack's Bahrain lacks any more tiles to work, with their army of workers. And o man, that Omani settling party is getting dangerously close to Cossack.
15. This view shows us just how close Phoenicia and Babbylounge really are. Also, in the northwest corner, we can see the Phoenicians slimy forward-settling settler. Shoo!
16. Ayy, Aegyptus finally settles a third city! And a fourth one looks to be settled soon, AI permitting.
17. Georgia settles a fifth city, within spitting distance of the Babbyloungians.
18. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! REMOVE BYBLOS FROM PREMISES! IS RIGHTFUL ROMAN CLAY! REEEEEEEEEEE!
19. WHEAT! Also fertility gods too.
20. Georgia settles another city, right near the edge of the flat earth. Hope none of their citizens fall off.
21. Aegyptus's settler settles into a settlement.
22. O man, looks like some border tensions between Bahrain and Oman will be flaring up soon!
23. O man, they just did!
24. The glorious Empire of the Romans founds another city! Insert Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch joke here.
25. O man, Oman pillaged Bahrain's horses. I guess Cossack's horde of workers will finally have some work to do.
26. Where four empires collide.
27. Persia's a thing, too.
28. Persia's still a thing, but now they have another city.
29. Glory be! The Queen of cities, Constantinople-New Rome, has built the Temple of Artemis. I have no idea what that does, but I'm sure it's nothing for our enemies to worry about.
30. EAST ROME BEST ROME!
31. EUROPEAN GEORGIA BEST GEORGIA!
32. FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
33. Susa has some nice Middle Eastern buffalo.
34. I hate sand. It's coarse and itchy and gets everywhere.
35. O man Oman!
36. K I'm done, have a nice week, and enjoy looking at some swanky stats slides.
