Japan's grip upon Asia is unchallenged besides the feeble Qing.
With or without words, all know where we stand and where they stand.
Our only allies that will have potential in the future are the Spanish and the Italians. Unfortunately, the Italians have no military (0) and Spain is woefully weak.
South America is a different story, however, as our allies stretch from Brazil to Mexico.
Canada has allied us for the time being, but they are to soon fall under the American sphere.
Its time to get down to business.
All armies are ordered to move forward and attack Chinese positions.
Manchurian forces more or less follow suit.
Within 3 weeks of starting the grand offensive into the heart of the Chinese empire, a peace treaty is sent to us with favorable conditions.
The rest of North Zhejiang is to be ceded.
Our grand Imperial Fleet has its transports separated from the main battleships and cruisers. They are then reorganized to fit one army each.
Taking a quick look at Italy reveals that the only military personnel there are rebels and Germans.
Our port city is Japanese enough to become a state.
Panama faces the opposite problem. It is a state, but every Japanese person there is assimilated into the greater craftsman union.
78% craftsmen, 78% North Andean.

really activates your almonds
But with the rise of medicine and better healthcare, there number of old has risen within our homeland.

Better pensions for all.
Brazil accidentally dissolves our alliance and requests for a renewal.
The previously unfit armies are reinforced with new recruits.
Military recruitment centers are bursting with fresh volunteers.
Older ships are taking up space within our ports.
and they conveniently disappear...
Which allows for more ships!
Seeing the already militarized state further its jingoistic goals, a socialist speaks out.
Rather than facing a communist tide, we agree to calmly reform our government.
Humongous success.
Brazilian diplomats accidentally dissolve the alliance between us and Colombia. We suggest Brazil take a look into its inner workings.
so pretty
(Naval bases are a pain to upgrade because level 5 naval bases look just like naval bases that can be upgraded. The best way to make sure every base is upgraded is to go through these pop-ups)
(Better than killing your patience and eyes)
After extensive research into the economy, some of our ministers suggest reworking the Indian fields so that the Chinese tea monopoly is broken.
Which is curious, as not only do we outproduce them in tea and distribute it among our sphere, but the Chinese don't even export their tea that well.
The minister is sent home to do actual research.
Citizens pay a small tax and a large tariff, because reasons.
Due to the falling power of several European countries in comparison to Japan, diplomats often feel a superior nature to other diplomats belonging to these countries.

America has overstepped their boundaries by influencing parts of the Japanese sphere.
What a shame, to fall from a monarchy to a republic...
The Imperial fleet is stronger than ever, with a new line of dreadnoughts leading the way forward.
Operation MITCH

Operation MITHC

Operation: Man In The High Castle
We are splitting the bill with Mexico.
The original plan was to sneakily sneak each army over to Mexican territory without the army losing any men. 60,000 men are too many, so each army is to be split as well as their landing fleet.
One half is to hold the original name while the other half is to hold an abbreviated version.
This is so they can link up later.
But I'm not ready!
Armies fit with little to no trouble. Supplies are a non-issue.
The journey is very "long".
Our grip over India has weakened, as we plan to directly incorporate these various princely states.
Temporary stop at island ports.
Holding the line will be important.
Some transport ships get lost and cross through the South Pole. Whoops.
With the increase of Jacobin demonstrations and socialist support, trade unions are created under state supervision.
Some militants take to arms, citing the increased Japanese presence as a danger for the future of Mexico.
A new Japanese Self Defense Army is created to suppress militants and to fill the void of our armies.
*cough cough*
Several armies, after landing, are reorganized and regrouped to double the Imperial standard.
They are renamed to better direct attention.
Too big for their boots is right! They have been a peaceful nation for too long!
spain c'mon no
Spanish diplomats are cordial and recognize that we have other plans.
Brits are treated like the foreigners they are.
America acts as if they are powerful. As if they control the Americas. Well no longer! Our soldiers are prepared!
Our ships made from the strongest steel!
Our plans that have been forged from the greatest generals!
Japan is the rightful ruler of the Pacific!
OUR CAUSE IS JUST AND OUR PEOPLE READY
CRY HAVOC AND LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF WAR!
The Mexican front is set to advance forward and seize the bordering provinces.
An elite task force descends upon Maryland to capture the capital.
Some of our strongest allies discard the call. The rest happily follow into the glory.
[CALIFORNIA THEATRE]

The largest army groups are split between the North and the South. They are to capture cities and eliminate hostile forces.
[MEXICAN THEATRE]

Forces advance until they meat enemy armies, and station themselves in defensive positions.
[NEW ENGLAND THEATRE]

Our tactical force lands upon the shores and seems to meet little resistance near the capital.

Poland begins another war to liberate their land, with Germany helping.
Without Japanese support, Italy is but an empire waiting to be conquered. Austria-Hungary declares war for their lost land of Tirol and France helps.
And of course with the majority of the Great Powers at war, it is fitting we take one out of the equation.
[NEW ENGLAND THEATRE]

With the coast secure and the American fleet to be utterly crushed, the tactical force waits to regain their strength for the next push.
[MEXICAN THEATRE]

We have secured the border, but enemy opposition grows stronger by the day.
The Americans attack our entrenched position. The land is flat, so it would be quite easy to pick of American troops, if their generals didn't already learn from their Civil War.
[NEW ENGLAND THEATRE]

No losses for our fleet.
[MEXICAN THEATRE]

With the tide of battle quickly turning to the Americans, another Japanese army comes to reinforce. The American army retreats from the massive wave assault.
But alas, they quickly return the favor.
The coast is mainly secure, the border between Mexico and the US is secure, and D.C. is about to be secure.
Japanese forces plunge into the streets and quickly kill the defenders.
[NEW ENGLAND THEATRE]

They quickly pursue the retreating force.
And again pursue.

Fierce fighting on the deserts of New Mexico left some of our forces weakened, so they had retreated into Mexico. A small contingent of American conscripts followed,
Neighboring armies quickly came to their rescue.
With the entire Pacific coast occupied by Japanese forces and their capital pillaged, America finally opens to peace negotiations.
And the peace treaty is signed!
We will take what we please.

Mexico won't be pleased, but they can either A) shut up and deal with it since they got some of their other land back or B) fight a war with the greatest military force on the planet.
Peace at last.
We took a bit more than was originally described, but this was balanced out by Alaska.
Alaska will be left within American hands, lest they declare war against us to reclaim lost lands.
New England is released and is to be put under Japanese influence.
With the operation a success, the plan is little less than paper.
Borders have been redrawn...
...and a new power that is truly global emerges.
